A dry start to the day with a strong breeze. We took a morning walk round Roundhay Park. It was n’t too busy, the birds were in good voice, a very pleasant 6.5k steps. We saw a duck in a tree, the swan in the extra, and visited the flowers for Ash who took his own life at that spot on Sunday morning.

My blip is of Garden Cat, not to be mistaken for Ginnel cat ( not seen recently :( ). I am not friends with Garden Cat, they visits only to chase birds and eat the foxes’ food. However, I am pleased with this snap of the cat as it shows that behind all that slinking around looking shifty, this cat has beautiful eyes and face. The green netting adds a hint of mystery.
