Poloroids from a Workshop
nhc mentioned Poloroids the other day, and that reminded me of the small stack of them I ended up with after an early 70's Ansel Adams Photography Workshop in Yosemite. Mr. Adams handed over a bunch of Poloroid cameras and film as a sort of surprise to us serious, zone system, participants. Instead of spending the entire week with large format cameras and light meters trying to capture the grandeur of the park, we suddenly had cheap cameras and a seemingly endless supply of film. We spent a very freeing and fun evening in the Awahnee Hotel and used up all the film.
