Five Geese a Swimming!

This afternoon we visited Haining Wood to check out the bluebells. They are still there but are very slow in coming out. It must be down to the continuing chilly weather!
We then carried off into Linlithgow then up to Beecraigs country park. The famous deer were notable by their absence, perhaps because the hinds will soon be giving birth. Today’s extra is all three Forth bridges visible from the park. The geese above were on the banks of the loch. There are a few pairs of resident geese who have been living and breeding there for some years now.
This morning we actually went shopping! A wee trip into the shops in Stirling and MaggieD was very happy to do some retail therapy!
