Bad Timing

Another unpleasant day - although very slightly better than yesterday. I even managed to get out into the garden for an hour.
This Clematis has never had a lot of flowers in the few years since we planted it, but this year it is absolutely covered in buds - and has been for weeks, with no signs of them opening. Today I noticed the first signs of them opening. They will probably be at their best while we are away next week, and be over by the time we get home :-(
