Living dangerously

We went for a walk with both the boys this morning . Ted has a good recall so he was let off the leash for a while. Jasper cocks a deaf one so he stayed on leash . It was a park called holmeswood beside St. Peter’s hospital Chertsey . Parking free fir the first 3 hours. I took a picture of the Manor House which we think is now a conference centre (must google it) to be my blip. Then when we arrived home I saw the neighbours builders taking the tiles off the roof. He was throwing them down to the guy below and laughing as he did so - no tiles  were harmed during this incident. It had to be my blip
Bit of weeding after lunch and planted all 12 of the lavender as a hedge in the hike it will keep the boys off the garden. (I am delusional I know).
Alan looked at hoover this afternoon as it didnt seem to be picking up Sunday. He found a clip had snapped off causing the pipe not to connect. Superglue would not adhere to it so off to the local recycling centre it went. It was only 9 years old and the older one still works perfectly. First time we have been since the eco park incinerator has been up and running. Very impressed with how it is run. each bay is numbered and every other bay is out of use. Even though its outside masks must be worn.
Had a conversion with Canada, Abigale cracks us up. She asked her dad where he was going. His reply was grocery shopping. Her reply was 'then you need a kid with you. he said no he will go on his own. Covid numbers are rising there and quickly. So far their area has been relatively from it. A month to moving so packing up and selling stuff they dont need. They both look really happy in a way I havent seen before
Mixed weather this evening, sunshine showers and cloud with a chilly wind
