All in one day ~ Backblip

The weather on this early May Bank Holiday:
Rain: horizontal, persistent and very spiteful.
Wind:  gale force.


An outing to watch the Red Kite feeding at Rhayder was not the treat it usually offers ............................................  during the whole period of our allotted time in Hide 5 we only saw 5 Red Kites and 4 crows, none of whom seemed to be at all interested in the food put down for them - I bet the foxes and others had a good feast later.   

After a very uncomfortable and wet journey back to our caravans, a change into dry clothes and a glass or two of the restorative red stuff, we all felt a lot better and the sun came out ......... briefly.

In extras:  One of the five Red Kites (a silhouette!) and a couple of the dejected Crows!
