The photo I've been promising for days

Here is the acer that was mostly dead - it looked dead and most of the woody part of it had died so I employed my kill or cure method and it survived.
Extra photo is part of the scene today due to the windy weather - hardly any blossom left on the weeping cherry and it was spread across the whole garden, drive, cars, paths, patio - I swept all those this afternoon. It looked messy and yet kind of pretty.
Feeling thankful that Terry had his 2nd vaccine today.
