Strong women

Despite the rain and cold wind, the little ones wanted to ride, so their mum and cousin got them dressed and tacked up.

I stood under the barn chatting to their aunts as she mucked out the 3 horses that have their stables situated there.

I went inside with the kids to have coffee with their grandma, but after about 20 minutes Mary was called to go back out to go for a ride with her aunts! Proper character building weather it was still, but she got warm clothes and waterproofs on without a word of complaint.

Made me feel such a wuss, but in my defence I didn’t have my riding gear with me. Must put it in the car ... as soon as it stops raining!
