Smart Car

‘That’s a SMART little car ‘ said the Silverback.

‘Are you going to GET one?’ I quipped back.

I’m not sure he realised I’d got the joke, because he carried on with the TV show references.

‘They have excellent CONTROL in the corners, no chance of getting into KAOS with a car like that’.

I was getting bored with the conversation and was hoping it would slip by. We were coming up to a tree I’ve been meaning to pee on for a few days now........ but he started making even worse puns about driving downtown to see the CHIEF... etc etc.

‘Real men drive 4WD utilities’ I said.

We walked on in silence, enjoying the sunshine.
