Here we have the 'Glutton' all electric street cleaner approaching Bridge Street, Kirkwall.

What a machine! It is 100% electric, ergonomic and compact. (Standing taller than its operator, we might question the last one.)

It has up to 16 hours of battery life, can climb steep slopes and handle uneven terrain, has a built-in intelligent battery charger and puncture proof tyres. The makers confidently claim it picks up "everything in its path from cigarette ends to water bottles to dog waste".
Personally, I feel a bit concerned for miniature dogs....
