the one good thing - about a really late spring - is that trees haven’t yet - filled in with their leaves - and because of that - they’re giving up secrets - which we might not - normally be aware of - in typical times

case in point - this squirrel’s nest - at least, i’m fairly certain - that’s what it is - usually though, i wouldn’t - be able to view this - wondrous sight of nature - because it would be - hidden by leaves - and i wouldn’t be noticing it - however now it’s - sort of sticking out - like a sore thumb - i waited a long time - hoping beyond hope - to see little baby heads - poking out from the - top but it didn’t happen - still it was clearly...
