Timber!

It was stormy last night and I noticed this tree at a dangerous angle when cycling out this morning. It was still the same on way home and I noticed a second tree in a similar position. Decided to tweet the photos to @edinhelp the council customer service twitter account. Got a prompt response that they had alerted forestry. I'll cycle past on Friday and see if any action has been taken.

I also tweeted the sign at Seafield which sends cyclists and pedestrians East to get to Leith and Ocean Terminal. That was less effective but I might have got a result yet.

Edit 7th May - additional photo is how that tree is now. The other one I reported is the same. Got a result. Now I just need to see the wonky sign at Seafield sorted.
