Ready Meal

How nice of this robin to pose after finding its worm in a puddle at Jackson Field.

The first male Baltimore Oriole arrived in our backyard today! Last week, Mr Mole placed the special feeder with oranges and grape jelly in what we call the bird sanctuary, an area of flowering trees and shrubs that give berries and cover for birds.  We watched him arrive, feed, hide in the virburnum, feed, and fly to the sycamore a number of times this evening.  I caught some photos of him through the bedroom window but will wait for better blips to post.
