Historic jetty

Beautiful calm autumn day to follow the Old Coach Road, from where the historic Governors Bay Jetty can be seen.  

The 140 year old jetty has been closed since earthquake damage in 2011.  But locals have banded together and formed a trust to raise money for its restoration.  At 300 metres long, it is a well loved landmark that can be seen from many vantage points.
