At home: photographer's eye

I dont know if this portrait works. I was trying to do a study of my friend's face. He is a photographer, so I thought a detail of his eye was better than a full portrait.

I think Ill have another go tomorrow, because the ISO was just so high at the grain is a little too distracting. Still, I do like the depth of field, on his eye lashes....
