Historic

Today we went to the port at Lyttelton. Another beautiful day and perfect for a walk around to look at some of our oldest buildings. New Zealand's European history only goes back to 1840 so old is comparatively very young when compared to the rest of the world. This one is the old railway signal box not used for a very long time. Land reclaimation now means that the railway has moved a lot closer to the harbour.
