Enough said!
I saw this today but I'm sure lots of others have seen it many times before. There are many images around for this quote but I liked this one. Children's hands are so beautiful and plants are so important to us all so felt it apt. We are, of course, all entitled to our opinions and sharing them is also important, but as the saying goes "actions speak louder than words" so long as they are good actions and meant well. Just my opinion of course!!
I hope everyone has had a good Bank Holiday weekend. These weekends do mean a bit less when you're retired but I know are very important to those working. The weather here has been dire with rain, sleet, snow and wind. I hope it's saving itself for when I'm visiting down South and moving mum. I've sorted out some summer clothes, so fingers crossed!
I had plenty of inside activities to be getting on with so the weather wasn't an issue. A few more items ticked off mum's list and a few off my own. I'm still participating in the WW zoom sessions as I was given nine months free to do the diabetes prevention programme which will end in July. Although I was quite reluctant at the beginning I've been enjoying the social interaction and met some nice people along the way. Unfortunately the host has changed recently and the new one doesn't have the same rapport as the previous one, so it won't be so bad when it comes to an end. I've achieved my goals and have been maintaining for the last couple of months so I must still be doing something right!
I still haven't started my new sewing project, that will be something to look forward to tomorrow.
