You can get a 'close' shave here
Out I ventured into the gloom and drizzle of the main street, planning on photographing one of the many empty shops that had to 'close' due to covid. Some have survived by moving, probably to somewhere with lower rent, others by changing their business model, like building up their online presence and giving up the shopfront.
An odd thing I've observed over the last few years is the proliferation of men's barbers. You'd think you'd get to the point where there were enough. With people like M being more and more representative of the demographic, there's a lot less hair around anyway. A mystery.
Back on the topic, I ended up liking this photo more than the closed shops. I'm wondering why they need two people to cut the customer's hair.
Thanks for hosting BobsBlips. Stay well blippers.
