Cows in the field ......

After the past few days of rain and strong winds, it has been sunny and settled today. 
I ventured into the garden this afternoon to put up the netting and plant the peas. I had hoped to manage the broad beans as well but decided that was enough as my knee began to complain and my leg became increasingly numb.
The cows have been in the field at the bottom of our garden today for the first time this year. It was good to see them again and I hope this was reciprocated as some came across to say hello. Our new neighbours have also fully moved  in today. It is good that the house is now occupied again and to have neighbours who are friendly and already helpful.
