In the Woods

We visited the woods today to see how the bluebells were getting on, but they were very disappointing (so I haven't blipped them).  There were large areas of bluebells, but the flowers looked scorched and tired.  This may be the effect of the unseasonal cold weather, and the several weeks without rain.  We shall return to see if they improve.

It did start raining again this afternoon, so I didn't return to the park to try and capture better pictures of the nuthatch.
