Dog rescurers

We took the dogs for their normal work this morning when 3 dogs came over the hill in front of us. At first we assumed their owners woukd shortly follow
They didn't
The dogs we fox hounds, two of them were chained together at the neck.
They had no collars, no tags.
We walked a bit to see if we coukd see any owners but no one.
They were lovely dogs, so we'll natured. We wondered if they had been dumped as they were all females that looked like they might have been bred from. They also had a lot of scratches on their faces.
We decided to call the forest warden. We had to wait about 10 or so minutes it is just as well we had lots of homemade treats they cleared me out!
The warden came and managed to get the dogs on leads. He said he woukd have a drive round and look for the owners but if they weren't found they would have to go to Battesea dogs home:( . I was then trying to convince myself we coukd have 5 dogs at home.
I posted on our Bagshot community Facebook page to see if anyone knew them and someone mentioned that two more had been found again chained together. We definitely don't have room on the sofa for 7!
It turns out they belong to the Army and are part of their draghunt pack.
So glad they were returned home safely . I can sleep tonight now without worrying with them.
