Leather at the Market
This woman sells leather goods at the Charleston Market. Today, I purchased a wallet. It's a once every ten years investment, for me. Gina has frequented this vendor on occasion over the years, as well.
We are in Charleston for the day while my car is being serviced. A walk down King Street revealed a plethora of store closings. Many have gone out of business, as I am sure they have elsewhere, due to the pandemic. One of our favorite Italian restaurants, Fulton 5, is gone. Jestine's is permanently closed, as is the landmark pharmacy. Crowds seem to be returning, a limited Spoleto USA will begin in a couple of weeks, so hopefully, this vibrant city will come back.
We had lunch at The Cru, near the horse stables.
