Ponden Hall

It felt good to be out in the sunshine this afternoon - after two days of rain - and nice to look across Ponden Reservoir at Stanbury, near Haworth, to the beautiful Ponden Hall.
The Hall is famous for reputedly being the inspiration for Thrushcross Grange, the home of the Linton family in Emily Brontë's novel Wuthering Heights.
