Oops

I flipped open the cover on the camera to put the sd card back this morning, and it completely sheared off. It still locks so the camera is usable (just) but the hinge will catch on things.

It looks like replacement door covers are available on eBay, so hopefully I can work out how to attach it.

Edit: just realised that I have earned a new blip camera... possibly not the most appropriate celebratory blip!
