You can't beat the Lake District when the sun shines and there's snow on the hills. This is Brockhole, the National Park Centre on Windermere, but I've carefully avoided including in the photo all the visitors who were on the Activity areas, Tree Top Treks etc. This is a quiet spot where we'd been for a swim, and the extra shows Globeflowers which I was delighted to find along the shoreline. Also, we didn't pay for the car park as we have a local address, so all-in-all a real winner.
