2021 Monday — “Energy Observer”

The Energy Observer is the first zero emission vessel worldwide fueled only by solar, wind, and hydrogen on a 7-year mission to prove that a future where ships sail the ocean without burning fossil fuel is a viable possibility. The 100-foot Catamaran makes its own hydrogen onboard. Its invaluable research is being shared at ports around the world since launching from France in 2017. It was docked today at the Morro Bay Yacht Club. Next it will sail for San Francisco.
