NASCAR nation wide series

After not seing any NASCAR because of the rain yesterday we decided to hit the strip for a bit of gambling and drinking. We went to senior frogs which was good then headed over to the Wynn and encore to go clubbing. After a few beers there we decided against going in the club due to the cues so we headed back to our hotel for more beers and gambling.

I noticed that there is definatly a difference in clientele who go to the Wynn, encore and venitian to that who go to treasure island, flemingo and Luxor. I can only compare it to people going to London Hilton vs a Blackpool B&B. I'm definatly a Blackpool B&B person.

Whilst on the coach to go to the speedway track we thought our bloody driver got lost because we ended up at nellis airforce base (near the speedway track). They let the coach through after a soldier got on the coach to check people. Driving through the airforce base there where stealth bombers and danger signs everywhere. Luckily the coach company got the agreement to drive through the airforce base.

I'm amazed at how the Americans put on a show even for the nation wide nascar race on Saturday. The facilities at the track are amazing, you don't have to cue for food, drinks or the toilet and the stadium holds 147,000 fans. Our country and sports stadiums can definatly take a leaf out of the Americans books. It takes me 15minutes to cue to go to the toilet and to cue for a beer at the wolves and we average between 18,000-25,000 fans.

The nation wide NASCAR race was amazing (pic). I loved every minute of it, racing, drinking, eating hotdogs and I can't wait until the sprint series NASCAR race tomorrow now.

Tonight we are off to the stratosphere to go to the top then a bit more gambling but going to have an early night as were up early tomorrow to go to the speedway track.
