Making a splash

Well, the belovèd grandchildren have returned home, after making a huge splash here in the Cygnet nest!

The house seems very quiet now that four members of our ‘bubble’ have departed. Breakfasts are back to being calm, orderly affairs. I’m sitting on the sofa now wondering what to do with my day! At least it won’t be too long before we all see each other again at our older daughter’s wedding next month.
