Jags and Weather
On my way up to the EICC to get my second Covid vaccine and I repeated my walk up the High St as per the route for my first jag and the main image above is a repeat of the image I took on 17th February and it seems to be a bit more busy, in fact I couldn’t to exactly the same spot because of roadworks. The main thing to note on my walk between the Tron Kirk and the High Court was the noise of power screwdrivers driving screws into join various battens of wood to create outside serving areas. I doubt that there is any 6x4 or 2x4 wood available in Edinburgh wood stores there are some impressive constructions being made to allow outside drinking.
After my jag (typically efficient service we’ve come to expect from the NHS in Scotland) I left the EICC and got immediately hailed on. That’s hail as in the white hard stuff that falls from the sky rather than being shouted at. It kind of stopped as made my way home via Prince’s St Gardens but as the hail/rain and cold had driven off everyone else I had the place to myself hence the second image. It was chilly but nice to wander about taking photos as I wandered.
