It started off cold and wet this morning, but in the afternoon the sun came out and it is quite nice now.

For the first time in a over a year I met my forever friends for lunch.  It was wonderful, we had such a good time and talked nineteen to the dozen...... was concerned at Pat's frailty, but she enjoyed her outing very much.  I gave them both a pair of my knitted wrist warmers as a celebratory gift, and they were well pleased.  Maeve will use them when gardening, and Pat wears them a lot at home as she is arthritic and it warms her.  It was lovely to see them.
