Our neighbour's garden is dominated by a large mound.It was a originally a section of the old Petersfield to Midhurst railway embankment pre-Beeching, and because of a tree preservation order it has to stay put.
The previous owners turned it all into a giant rockery which looks wonderful when everything is in flower.
This is one of the surrounding trees that makes me nervous in windy weather. For scale, the fence is 6 feet high. From ground level the tree must be a good 25 metres.
