Aubretia

I’m afraid it’s another flower photo. It rained again most of the day, particularly while I was waiting outside school for Joe. He bounds up to me, thrusts  his book bag, backpack and water bottle at me and then runs off to walk with his friends. It’s good to see him so confident after a year of lockdown. 
MrM tried for years to grow aubretia in the wall and succeeded at last with this one grown from seed. It’s one of the few things that doesn’t look a bit sad after all the cold weather.
