A Stork, Two Geese, and a Heron

… all enjoying themselves this evening down by Mourão's river beach; in the dry times, we drive across here. (I think the geese are Egyptian Geese?)

This morning, down at the Lake, I saw two snakes whipping across the surface of the water, as well as several turtles swimming more slowly. I'd deliberately not taken the camera, so didn't get them. Would love to know if they're harmless... Having grown up in the Amazon forest, must admit to being wary.
