Soldier Beetles

Seems to be the time of year when swarms of these insects helicopter in to invade gardens in parts of Australia. Apparently they go into a frenzy and rush around looking for a mate to pair with. There were dozens all over this rhubarb plant. Luckily they don't bite humans!
