What is essence do walkers have, and why should it be targeted, either partially or in totum? Is this some sinister plot by landowners to hit back at the Ramblers' Association and get people Off Their Land? Or is it aspirational; the latest fitness regime designed to harness the untapped potential of pedestrian locomotion? Perhaps we are talking crisp brands here, with 'walker essence' being a shorthand for vinegar flavouring.
