The driving range

Even as a non-golfer I am very much in favour of this driving range. It used to be part of the golf course, but road developments have shifted the course's axis. Last year I had a fear that the golf club would simply sell off this land to a builder. But I would think it is 'green belt,' whatever that means. There are a number very mature oak trees there, and I was concerned about their fate. But by creating their driving range the golf club has invested in this landscape.
