Bday Celebrations

Mr EG is another year older on Tuesday so we had a few friends over for dinner. It took a bit of juggling to cook for 9 people and get 2 little uns bathed and in bed, but we still managed to sit down to eat at a reasonable-ish hour and it was a really good night.

I tried to get Eva down and she slept upstairs through the starter, but joined us for the main course and dessert and cheese and biscuits and was still wide awake when we tried to go to bed at 2.30am. She didn't spoil the evening though as she was quite happy to be passed around the table like pass the parcel, giving everyone big smiles. She's just a little night owl.
