Hampsfell Hospice

We swam in Windermere then I dragged Mr P and son Richard up Hampsfell because it is a Wainwright  outlying fell and there are many geocaches to be found.  A group of lunchers in front of the Hospice  (the tower at the summit that acts as a shelter in bad weather) put pay to my planned photo shoot so I climbed up onto the roof with R to examine the old compass and admire the view of Morecambe Bay
