Well they're flowers

Just rather large, artificial, and partially obscuring the nice Paolozzi Mosaics. These are probably the only attractive thing left from the original new town centre as the owners have whittled away at the open spaces to raise more money. The sunken piazza, the palm trees, the water feature, the attractive clock, places to sit and chat, have all gone, and that was before covid. Now there is a proliferation of signs, "This way, Keep left, Keep safe", and one which says , but in different words, " Keep moving". In a desert of cheap eateries, nail bars, hair dressers and empty shops, why would anyone want to stop?
You'll guess that I didn't enjoy my trip to town this morning.
