First bowls of the year

First time on the bowling green this year today. Managed at least one good shot. (Close up in extra). Hopefully, this year we will get more opportunities to play. Only managed a couple of games last year as once we were able to open problems developed with the green and it had to be closed so that it could be stripped and reseeded.
