Willow trunks

The pollarded willow trunks, more or less finished this morning. Still quite a bit to do on the piece they are going on, but not this weekend as the sewing machine is going for a well deserved 'spa break', i.e. a service with Supreme Sewing, a.k.a. Steve.  He's an absolute treasure who has kept my machines going over the years. What with one thing and another, not least a certain virus, it's been two years since its last service whereas the amount I sew it probably needs doing more like every six months. The poor man will be knee deep in fluff when he opens it up. 

I had my second vaccine today, no major side effects so far other than a sore arm.
