Delicatessen display

We met up with Jayne's sister and her husband this morning for a walk from Broadway. From there we headed along The Cotswold Way uphill across fields before descending into the very picturesque village of Buckland.This is beautiful countryside with it's rolling landscape and fine views in all directions.

Leaving Buckland behind we followed a path through woodlands with carpets of bluebells everywhere we looked before returning to open fields again, crossing streams and finally back to Broadway.

Late lunch of sourdough sandwiches and shared fries taken outside on the patio at the Lygon Arms hotel and then soft scoop ice creams from one of the shops in the well known High Street where I took the photo that I've blipped. The window the other side of the shop entrance had a very old Fiat 500 as it's display and I hope that it hasn't got an oil leak!
