Lake District

We are very lucky to have good friends who have a static caravan in the Lake District near Ings in the south of the Lakes. We have the use of their caravan for two weeks although it will be intermittent due to hospital
appointments for H and the fact that we have two and a half metric tonnes of bark being delivered next week which has to be distributed around the garden!
When we had settled in today we went for a walk and this was one of the
views from the walk. After that we drove up the Hardknot pass and then down the "struggle' to Ambleside and then back. The struggle is very steep but I managed it. I took some photos of Crinkle Crags with snow on the top but the sun was not in the right place and it didn't show the snow well.
The forecast for tomorrow is rain, but we will make the best of it!
