Posing

When I opened the curtains one of the robins was posing nicely on an old fork handle put there just for this purpose. In a dry spell this afternoon I went down into my woodland garden with mealworms for them but the nest was empty. The chicks had looked big yesterday and looking in the empty nest, it's hard to believe there was room for 4 of them in there.

I had a day at home today beginning with a Zoom meeting with our local Wildlife Trust committee members. We left any decision-making about our evening meetings until we see how the summer goes. We planned some summer reserve visits instead.
