Bargain hunting in the Borders

This afternoon I turned my prop-shopping activities to Peebles. Yes, @thechimp and @mazgilchimp you were both spotted in the high street just after 1pm!!

I started by perusing the charity shops (and acquired a couple of pieces) and then head to Peebles Auction House to look at the lots ahead of tomorrow's sale.

It used to be fun to go there and look at everything across several rooms but it seems to have turned into a bit of a jumble all stacked up high in just the one. I've popped a low bid in online for one item but not expecting to get it, you never know though.

Winter still isn't letting go with several hail showers but mostly dry, it's a start. Oh and super interesting fact of the day - field ants can live for 20 years - how insane is that?!
