Cleared the deck

Clouds covered the sky most of the day, and the wind was strong. Not enticing weather for a jog. Some sunshine was seen mid-afternoon, so I decided to complete the clearing of the steps down to the lowest level deck and onwards to the path leading to a dead end by the dead tree. 

My initial plan was to work on the rose beds on the north side of the house. Changed tack when I took the first load of weeds down to the cliff edge for disposal (my compost bins are full and not yet ready to be used). The bottom deck was covered with debris, some of it produced by Mr H a week ago as he dealt to some of the overgrowth.

After a couple of hours, I had emptied the weeds from the planting boxes (the flowering plants we had  there had not survived time and neglect), and forked it over ready to start afresh, All the steps were swept clear and the extraneous plants (known as weeds)were pulled out and disposed of. And this deck was once a again clear and ready for use once more.
