White Oaks

Over in Newton Mearns visiting mum today, which gave me the opportunity to blip one of the nice houses in the Broom Estate, near to where my grandparents lived. The estate was built in the 1930s by a building company called MacTaggart and Mickel, and my grandparents moved in quite early on and were there till the early 1960’s. It’s still a nice place to visit, although it’s surrounded by a lot of new builds, as so many places are nowadays.
