Character building

There were lots of tears this morning at the prospect of going out to the football in a proper blizzard. But I pulled myself together and layered up and was rewarded with a 5-1 victory and a goal from Eve - she had another great game in midfield and is getting better with every game, it was great to watch - if cold. There was a lot of mutinous muttering from certain parents about spending mothering sunday by the side of a frozen footie pitch but I reckon they loved it really. Probably.

Victory assured it was hot chocolate for Eve followed by a hot bath and there's a chicken in the oven getting hot too.
