Celebration

Of a 64 year wedding anniversary. For me it’s unbelievable, such a long time together, over 90 years old and still managing most things together. Most of my friends, and myself got married a little later, so it’s unlikely we’d get anywhere near 40 years! We had party service, the most fantastic roast beef with potato gratin and vegetables delivered to their home. Delicious, and a lovely celebration. I think they are worried that the three children will fall out when they are gone. Relationships are not quite as good as they were 20 years ago, following a divorce and a rift, and we are in the middle, friends with both brother and sister.
