Bird hide

Soaked but happy. Had a great walk with two very special friends and got drenched.
We went exploring the Gosforth nature reserve which we didn't even know existed! Apparently there's usually plenty of wildlife to see, including deer and an otter, but they were all taking shelter! They must have been looking at us three humans and wondering why we would be so daft as to go for a walk in the torrential and very cold rain! The rangers joked that the swallows will be heading back to Africa at this rate! It certainly feels like winter. Headed home for another hot shower and dry clothes.
